Been asked a few time what the "CCC" was all about, well.....could not come up with one but then looked out the window and seen the 3 capital C's in the manufacturers name on the side of my dinghy. "Cairns Custom Craft".That was the begining of CCC
Maybe I should change it to Chivers now??

In Uni if you studied to hard and didnt play enough you got A's and B's. So the aim was always to get a Mexican Pass - SiSiSi or CCC. That way you got the studies and social balanced. Until it counts no point in extending energy. In the last year you change and dont want a Mexican Pass, but an Alco pass ie AAA. All the yrs got mexicans, last yr got a bloody B snuck in there, so a Sheep Pass BAA. Stupid things we played with and wasted energy.

Soupster is just and adaptation that a few mates have made. 51 comes from me once being the leading hand on the five inch gun on an Anzac Class frigate. All forward (in this case the only one) five inch guns are called Mount 51, followed by Mount 52 ect...

Came about because I'm cursed with the dreaded seasickness (soft c$!k, sand in my va*i#na, all in your head whatever) and so if theres a piece of land available nearby and the head starts spinning too much I get dropped on the beach for a sleep on the high water mark till the eskys full and the boat comes back looking for me.

Many years ago in a fishing comp I had a mate who wouldnt go out without his lucky orange hat. When fishing , me being skipper, I would sound arround until I saw something I liked and hold over the ground and get him to drop down. Of course if anything good was there he hooked up. Then we would go back and drift and I would put a line down too. Consequently he caught most of the big fish, nearly always on that first drop.
The bugger ended up winning a few prizes at the comp for biggest species and came second overall. He assured me this was because of his superior skill and the lucky orange hat.
So I stole the hat and burnt it.

All that came to mind, bit of a gay name really that was decided on late at night without the foresight that i'd get into this forum thing.
Got paired up once with an old bloke many years ago as a dive buddy on the older mindarie dive boat, he was a bit shocked and refered to me as some kind of underwater monkey when we were back on the boat, guy was suprised when he saw me de-kit in 15 meters of water and go into a deep ledge with cray loop in one hand and my BCD and tank under my other arm for a snug fit:) ahhh the olden days.
