how do you rig up

Hey guys just after a few tips, when going bottom bouncing for demersals for instance if your fishing with braid, do you join a heavy leader to your braid then tie your swivel and rig or do you tie your braid straight up to your rig/swivel??
Any info would be great trying to get all my gear sorted out before heading out.
Cheers rossco

I and im guessing almost
I and im guessing almost everyone tie a leader onto the braid, something simple as an allbright will hold for demersals, if you want to go a bit more advanced, you cant go past the bimini to gt knot.

20lb braid and more I'll
20lb braid and more I'll mostly tie a 70 turn bimini and attach using a modified improved albright. Never had any problems but the knots a big too bulky for casting effectively with heavy line :( Need to learn the GT knot for sure!

No need to get fancy on
No need to get fancy on demersals. I tie a ball bearing swivel to my braid using a palomar knot and 80lb leader to that with two dropper loops. Too many people tie rigs that can't be re-tied quickly when the fish are biting. Apart from the occasional shark we never have terminal gear failure. Keep it simple.

Bimini to a catspawed
Bimini to a catspawed ballbearing swivel to rig, fish light drag so no need for the shock leader.
