How good is the City of Cockburn

To put on dinner thanking all of the volunteers who man SES, Volunteer Bushfire Brigades and Marine Rescue within the City annually......great recognition for the many many hours of dedication. Thank you

One of my workmates was recognised there last night. He was really looking forward to it.
I'm covering his offshore panel at the moment so he could attend actually.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Maybe not as flash but Carnarvon and Shark Bay shires put on a show for all the vollies.
Its great that their voluntary efforts during the year are rewarded

This is the same City of Cockburn that initiated and pushed for the wire trace ban in WA!!
Residents should be voting out the current council and mayor.

You've got a good point there mate! I was talking about the planning department and in my line of work (property development) it is a rarity to have anything positive to say about a council!
