lie down in the shallows
lie down in the shallows and make noises like a female marron.
any interest in your direction should be from the males!
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Nice one grayzeee
all these years of walking for miles if only i had of thought of that years ago.lol.If you look at a marron from the top ie as you are about to snare it the males will generally have wider claws and the female longer thinner claws. Then if you flip them over the male will have small nodes near the legs at the top part of the tail and the female will two small areas a couple of legs higher. This link will explain it better. www.pir.sa.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0005/33980/marron.pdf
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?![](http://fishwrecked.com/sites/all/libraries/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/tounge_smile.gif)
