How much for a furuno 587?

Hi fellas,

I just wanted to know how much you guys have paid for a furuno 587 as I am thinking if buying one. As they are just a sounder unit with no gps maps ect I have found an american supplier that can do them for around $2k and thats with a 1kw transducer. Anyone have any thoughts or opinions?

Cheers guys

I got mine with the tm260

I got mine with the tm260 1kw transducer for $2400 with $250 cash back. I was getting quoted from everywhere in Australia ranging right up to $3200 which is a rort. It is a great sounder, I've only used it a few times now and I'm still getting used to the settings but already love it. Great little unit.

$1545 after rebate from BIAS

Thu, 2013-09-19 16:07

$1545 after rebate from BIAS is pretty dam good, the transducer is only around $1000 for a tm260 from the states (save 3-400 against local). There are firmware upgrades available for the 587 apparently but as mine is from the US I doubt it will be upgraded by anyone locally. For the money BIAS have them out at I recon its money better spent

I paid $1247 plus $80

I paid $1247 plus $80 shipping ex-US, TM260 was $747 plus $70 shipping ex-US however I wouldnt recommend that supplier. Plenty of others off them around the same $$

Hooking up took no time at all.

all up around $2k shipped.
