How is our metro fishery doing?

G'day Fella's'

I haven't been able to get out for quite a few months as every time I'm home the weather gods dicide to turn on the fan and sprinklers. I was wondering how the metro area Mandurah to 2 rocks has been fishing and has anyone had any unusual catches for this time of year.

Braving the conditions

My second home is north of 2-Rocks Decella. Despite the conditions it's normal for a weekend run up there with the dog. There are still fish to be had for those willing enough to have a crack. A couple of weeks ago I found a sheltered spot and had fun fighting Buff Bream holed up there. That's a whole lot better than nothing at all! Last week there were a few Herring and I met up with some old friends who I hadn't seen for a while so it was about a beer and a chat....still a lot better than sittig around wondering IMO.
