if Ballas goes for his bump on the weekend I will stop watching AFL and start watching NRL or netball or tennis or ice curling or thumb wrestling, Afl should be called "don't bump ball these days" have the Afl hierarchy forgotten the hip and shoulder is a legit part of our great game ?????? and no I am not a freo fan

Yeah gotta agree with petermac, it was a legitimate hip and shoulder, no high contact. Straight to tribunal due to his poor record? what about buddy? his shoulder connected with the guy's head and they deemed it not forceful enough for a suspension and his record isn't the greatest going around. Ive noticed that majority of the Sydney players get of light at the MRP. Seems to be different rules for different clubs. BTW as much as i hate ballas it would be a darn shame if a player gets rubbed out for a proper bump. AFL seem to change the rules every week . Get it together, the game is being ruined.

yes the swans players are protected species , especialy as much as I admire the bloke Adam Goodes has been protected by the AFL for some of the things he has done on field , I am convinced the AFL want another triple Brownlow medalist and that's why Goodes and Ablett get away with their sly hits

The Adelaide bloke should get suspended for letting himself get dropped by the smallest bloke on the field. I Hate the dockers and I hate Ballantyne, But this softening of the game has to stop. I remember playing under 7's and we weren't allowed to tackle so we were encouraged to bump.

My point is they barely played this week. Luke on one leg, Johnno not there, but they still tamed a reasonable attack. Top two still on track. Looking forward to Alex silvani standing up, and morbito's return. Clancee pearce playing well in the wafl. Not concerned. Give Johnno and luke a little rest. Freshen them up for September

Thought Bally's bump was a fair bump going for the ball. Franklin should have been cited though - shoulder to head and a late bump at that. He has gotten away with a few recently.
What peeves me is that early in the year a perfect hip n shoulder with accidental head clash got multiple games whereas recently a hip and shoulder with shoulder to the head is no case to answer, go figure!!
