Increased Fisheries exposure

Thought Id give credit to the fisheries department for there increased exposure since the fishing licences have been in place and in particular over the last christmas period.
over chrissy We have been checked 3 times in the boat twice arround rotto and once out from two rocks and at least 6 times at different ramps, good to see the licensing funds have been put to good use.
Hope it continues arround easter and during the school holidays with everyone heading up north and down south

I have to say I am a little disapointed about only being checked once in the last three years around Karratha. But nice to see this isn't the case every were. Seeing as I always follow the rules the more often I'm checked the better.

Been down cockburn a few times as well, doing research as well as checks.
Also seen the mobile trucks out of a night time down the rock walls, times are changing for the better.
But i guess some money goes a long way too, a little way.

We have been out quiet a bit lately, from woodies up to 2 rocks, haven't been check out at the ramp nor out on the ocean..
maybe it's because we leave before light and come back really late?
