Interesting start to the year

Only been back in town two days and it looks like there won't be any clear water to fish in for a while.
At least the house is ready and the boat still locked away.

I guess thats the price you pay for living in an area with such quality fish the rest of the time
At least it looks like a low category (though it looks like it'll hit Onslow right on the bullseye). Hopefully the fishing when it clears will make up for it :D

Not to bad
Bit of the usual damage around town after a cyclone, odd trees and plenty of branches down, small bits of roofing lifted, some buckled fences, minor flooding and a downed power line.
Only lost power for about 2 hours so that wasn't to bad.
Horizontal rain is a strange sight!
Ocean is fairly rock and roll coffee at the moment.

yep
Certainly didn't see this one coming, I flew down to Perth on Saturday and heading back tomorrow, didn't batten down anything as the forecast all seemed fine. Will certainly be keeping a closer eye on the weather maps from here on in and be doing a bit of stock up shopping for lock down as there has to be a few more coming in the near future. (Here's hoping not!)
