With 25% of the vote counted it looks like Daylight Saving has been given the thumbs down again. I voted NO because it impacts the guys who work for me - you can't start early in construction if it is still dark. Either way i would have accepted the result as i don't find it does anything for me one way or another. What really irks me is the fact my taxes have paid for the referendum because a couple of ineffectual politicians from both sides of the fence saw this as a cheap opportunity to grab the limelight. Neither of the proponents has done Jack S... for the state except saddle us with the bill for their little ego trip.

Estimated at 2 to 3 million dollars to acomplish something that they should have settled themselves. Dosent make a gnats cock to me. Still start work in the dark and do the 1st hour in the dark so no difference to me

They could have saved even more money if they took notice of the first referendum and not forced us through another 3.It all comes down to big city business pushing the pollies to get their way,the same thing is going to happen with extended trading for shops.
I voted with a big NO,didn't underline it or put an exclamation mark for fear it would have been counted as informal
