Jigging with the lads
Submitted by Chuditch on Mon, 2009-12-14 19:10
After booking a jigging session with all the lads 2 months in advance we were extremely lucky to get some of, if not the best conditions of the year on Sunday. Was the maiden jigging voyage for 10 out of the 12, with a large range of fishing experience between the group we still did fairly well. Managed to boat around 60 fish.
My biggest of the day at estimated 45kgs.
Another solid fish
There was one major 3way tangle for the day which resulted in myself and the skipper both busting off leaving haydn to pull in three fish. Only to boat all three to find another unaccounted for sambo attached to the bottom with jig still in its mouth. The result was one tired man, 4 fish boated and a shit load of lost braid.
Learning the hard way
Jigged bronzey
Pete pretty happy with himself
Robbo - Numero 7
Great day was had by all.

i would think one that size
i would think one that size would be enough but to pull 4 on board on your own , thats an awsome effort, shame on you lot for letting him do the hard work. well done on the whole trip. you would have been sore and stoked after that effort

Deserved to fight them by himself, snapping all of us off. Nah he did well to recover the jigs plus score an extra along the way! Cant wait for another trip

Solid Effort
Tough work winding in four sambos all by yourself that's for sure. Great photo of the fish and the victim. LOL.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.
