"Waypoint 36 - KGs"

Sandra and I headed out this morning with one species on target - KG. After offering assistance to an old chap in a tinny at the ramp, we headed out and were at our designated spot by around 07:30am.

We dropped the pic and burlied up and were immediately into the action, with me pulling in a decent KG on my first and second drops.

Off to a great start.

Drop 4, saw number 3 on board with Sandra (for once) lagging behind with a few nibbles, but nothing to show for it.

Soon the pesky wrasse and other reef species moved in, so we decided to try another spot, which prooved fruitless, except for an enormous 5cm leatherjacket caught by your's truly Tongue out

We headed back close to our original spot and immediately hit pay dirt, well, at least Sandra did with SEVEN in a row!  3 whilst I was talking to Dave(y)! The girl was on fire!

I topped up with another 2, but again the pickers moved in, so we decided to call it a day.

All up, 12 nice KG between us. Sorry for the LB shots, but I forgot to take the camera.

EDIT: footnote - yes, done by Sandra again  YellLaughing

LMAO - yes! I'll no doubt continue to be considerate in that way Tongue out

As for being a good samartitan, I just don't know how so many folks just walked right past him at the ramp. He was ok, didn't need help after all, but some folks just don't care. As far as I'm concerned and no doubt most of us in here, it's just the right thing to do.

Good Karma

Sun, 2009-12-06 22:15

Good work Colin and Sandra - offering assistance to an old chap in a tinny at the ramp and then being rewarded with some KG's.

I bet Wade was hoping the same as I was - that you might be handing out some coords to where these KG's are hiding.

Should be receiving a new fish finder tomorow; so once that is in I hope to be finding a few hiding spots.

Keep up the good work, but leave some for us.

Yes Scott, I'm a firm believer in Karma, you usually get what you give out (though shouldn't expect so) - sometimes you get burnt - but that's the way it goes.

As many have said Scott, the best fun with a GPS is finding ground.

Mate, there's plenty of KG's out there still Laughing

Dead right there Soupster mate,. eventually Wink

Cheers Ryan mate!  Interestingly we where use FC as leaders - stiff to knot, but certainly made the the dropper standouts stiffer, which I think was an advantage.

Thanks Paully, I'll go to bed thinking about that head gear mate (all good!) Laughing
