Synit Razar 200 gets a good rap, but I haven't bent one yet.

Am planning to check out some of the 2014 Mantis range on Friday though if a few things come together!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

The 53SUL is rated pe1.5-4,
The 53SUL is rated pe1.5-4, jig weight 80-200g, has quite a long butt section but is very parabolic from the real seat to tip.

That's interesting as the specs for the fallings is a faster taper at 35 65 for memory, faster than the three kings special at 30 to 70. I thought the JM evolution titanium were the most parabolic of all three JM selections. A Synit Kaha 50g or 100 maybe a better taper for what you are after. The Razar is a little faster than the Kaha.

When I say very parabolic I
When I say very parabolic I can only base that on other medium-heavy rods that I've used - JM 3 Kings 53M and Evergreen Poseidon pspj410 - neither of which are exactly parabolic...

Does it shut off at the foregrip and you can't feel it bend into the foregrip? How does is feel compared to the three kings? Sorry to hijack the thread but I am looking at both blanks for a custom build. Thanks.

Haven't been out for a while, but from memory I could feel a reasonable amount of bend in the foregrip.
Where are you located Bunny? I'm taking a guess based on your profile pic not metro - but the Compleat Angler in Nedlands had a 53SUL in stock last time I was in there. If they don't have one you could take a look at mine if you like.

The NB574 EVO would be an awesome rod, i use a NB536 OMASA and am thinking of getting either the NB574 EVO or the NB586 OMASA for my next rod.
I use NB536 OMASA for NZ kings and it is a sweet rod, just want a lighter version now for a bit more fun.
