Sambos are even tougher off the rocks/sand good fish.  Looks like he was fairly knackered struggling to hold it up.

Might be an idea to hang it

Fri, 2012-08-31 21:45

Might be an idea to hang it on the scales and photo to put people out of their miseries just don't show the bit where you're hanging on the tail lol. Nice LB catch though.

I can see that you do have the right equipment to cast out far and accurate and this in turn will enhance your chance of catching the bigger fish.

The rod and reel tell the story w23hy yopu can catch these bruisers, not the fish.

Nice capture

great Landbased Sambo.

Unfortunatly just another example of where fisho's just shouldn't quote a weight.

I'm much more of a fan of quoting lengths not weights now.

Agree, lenght is much better then weight, and no stupid discussions about certifed and calibrated scales with tapemeasures

Yes, a lot of knockers on here

A photo like that is gold. If you don't post a weight then the tread will turn into "how much did it weigh?" or "that looks like a good xx kilos". Best to just post the pic and disregard any comments as to weight, length and location. Just tell your story and savour the moment. Great catch mate!!!!!!
