Hello people.
I'm currently in Brisbane doing sweet FA so had to go visit a local tackle shop.
Jone's Tackle in the middle of Brissy I spose, about 11 km from my hotel a short taxi ride.
Has quite a bit of gear friendly staff and nice owners, bought some Smith hammer head poppers and some of their sickbaits while I was there.... dont worry left some up on the wall
They let me walk around the shop taking pics no drama,
Just love tackle shops, dont matter who you are everyone just loves fishing.

Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

I was there 2 years ago again
I was there 2 years ago again during Chrissie time - they didn't have as much Japanese blings at that time, only spotted a couple of Crosstage rods at best. They have certainly upped their game!

If your still in Brisbane
Check out Tackle Warehouse in Camp Hill - had a look today and also an impressive shop, nice blokes too. Had a look at Jones last year and its a great local store. Love checking out the tackle shops in other cities. Other notable mention is Elite north of Brisbane, not as much in show but really good guy to chat to.
