Hi guys I was thinking about taking a trip up to Sandy Cape in the near future. Any one been up there latley? What are the conditions like?

Not recently, we were last up there at easter so can't help with current weed etc.
If the weed does come and you're in the bay, just move towards the boat ramp, you can still Tailor there, we also get some nice yellowfin whiting.
If it's not weedy, then anywhere along the beach is good, we were pulling in 40-50cm Tailor then, so they'll probably be bigger now.
The jetty is worth a look in Jurien as well, some big stuff being caught there.
