Thats a very vague question mate. Few more specifics could be helpful :) Landbased/Boat? What fish are you targetting etc... Pretty sure it's always firing up there though if you know where to fish.
sorry guys... il be taking up my boat ill be chasing all sorts. i just wanted a rough idea.
i went up there a while ago landbased for about 4 nights we caught absaloute nothing except for a mulloway so dont want the same thing happening again...
getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.
Was there on Sunday, the drift made it a bit tough to jig but plenty of baldies caught by the guys using bait. No monsters caught, but by all accounts still a great day out!
Coming in a bit early, also meant I got back to Perth in the early afternoon which was nice.
heaps more fish...we where leaving beach at 7 back by 10.30 ...11.00 ...not far out at all ,,, dhues balds.pinks,,even got 2 red throats, plus 1 cobia...around lunch time was watching people catch big tailor to 650mm long ..and huge herring off beach launch area ...good luck.
I was up there over the long weekend with the boat - heard there were macks about so we spent the first 30 mins trolling on sunrise saturday and got a couple of macks. Heaps of baldies, dhuies, pinkies around. Was a good weekend

Lots of fish.
Theres been a lot of big boldys and big dhuys inside the reef, perfect for dinghy users! I think you got lucky with the Macks!
