Given the amount of jigs lost to Sambos, yeah, mine included, how common is it to bring one up wearing jewlery??

Have never hooked a fish
Have never hooked a fish with a jig in its mouth but i have caught about 80mtrs of mono line with a jig on the end. Someone must have busted off and the fish spat the hook.

Last season
Last season my brother boated a fish that had a heap of braid trailing from its tail. After retrieving about 50 metres of braid we eventually pulled up a pink 300g daiwa sacrifice jig.
Once caught a very finicky dolphinfish out the fads after my small hook passed through the eye of a swivel that was attached to a mono trace and gang hanging from its mouth. Unbelievable!

One sambo
Not a jig but I did land a little sambo of about 15 that had just a hook through its guts area two weeks ago, it wasn't far from rusting through but we removed it.
I also have my own video footage of a travelly with about an 80-100gram raider in it's mouth, the poor bugger is near trying to swim upwards to stay afloat. Took it when I was living in Exmouth.
Usually looking for others to come aboard for fishing and diving!!
