Hi All
Thinking it might be an idea to try and help out our QLD folk. Maybe a fishing comp to try and raise some coin? Could have an entry fee etc
I wouldn't be the man to organise this as the logistics could be a nightmare and i'm a fairly simple meat and 3 veg bloke. But if anyone has organised something similar before it may have some legs.
Not sure how it would go and how much we could raise but I would be keen to decky or if landbased I could be tempted. Just an idea.

I was involved with a different forum few yrs back when the east had them bad fires . We got a couple tackle shops to donate prizes and have a big sausage sizzle down the forsore. Rasied a fair bit of cash.

this is going to sound absolutley horible. but at times like these you cant please everyone. although the fire victime down south do need help. the poxy government is giving 3000$ if there house was burnt down. and 1500 if there houses are damaged.

think about your posts, we are all Australians and we all deserve help. but as in a hospital emergency , the worst are seen to first. just ask some on here that either live or are visiting over there what it is like. i feel Qld needs the help first, they have 75% of the state damaged by flood waters and we have the Carnarvon area that is damaged , work out the % on that one. no questioning its bad in Carnarvon but just take a look at the news
PS. just heard on the 7 news that 750k homes damaged . that equates to .SHIT LOADS of people either without nothing or little

As the title read, it was just an idea.
Macca if you really think "Fuck QLD" I feel sorry for you mate!!
QLD's death toll could be quite alarming at the end of all this and you say "Fuck QLD"???
On Carnarvon no one said nothing could be done for them also or Lake Clifton. But it was JUST AN IDEA. Like others have said it would take a fair bit of work so it probably won't happen but was just an idea.
Everyone needs to chill. Take it easy and catch some fish guys!!!
