Kalbarri fishing

Hi all,
Heading to Kalbarri in August, searched the forums and already got some spots to possibly go and try.
I did see on FB that you can catch squid in Kalbarri? Has anyone ever done this or know where I should point my rod?
Oh and landbased only.

i havent fished kalbarri
i havent fished kalbarri much, but csting from wahts left of the old rock wall to the channel can be good fortailor, and i even got asmall mulloway there.
also i reckon it owuld be worth renitng onte of those little boats and going across to the other side and casting mulies or lures offthere for tailor. be careful of swell though.

Shark tooth rock up by red bluff caravan park was always good for tailor and mullaway some beachs where closed to fishing i beleive? jakes beach and chinamans rock used tp produce big tailot (18 pound ) but i'm not sure if you can still fish them. A bit south there is wagoe beach, casting striaght off the reef into deep water on the outer side,Snapper and mackies have been caught there as well as tailor.
