Kalbarri Land Based

Hey everybody, hope you all had a good Christmas.
I'm off to Kalbarri for a few days and was wondering if anybody had any advice on where to fish and what to target. I've read that Red Bluff is the go for tailor, but I'm assuming it will be elbow to elbow this time of year?
How's the river for fishing?

Wittercarra Creek and the Blue Holes
are my favourite tailor spots at Kalbarri.
If you head south out of town along the coastal road take the third track on your right (Siphon Road). There is a nice hole in the reef straight in front of the car park.
Be really careful of the waves (watch them for awhile before you head out and if it looks to rough give it a miss). Mulies or garfish on gangs suspended from a float, or poppers are the go there.
In the evening try a spot a couple of hundred metres in from the river mouth near some pergolas on the beach. Fresh fish fillets or mulies should put you onto something decent.

Thanks for that Colin, will definitely check those places out!
If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

Elbow to Elbow
G'day guys
It's crowded here big time. Chinamans to the fuel jetty looks more like Scarborough. Boat ramp is absolutely chokkers with people having to park out on the road. Up river is ok for bream and soapies but again finding space on your own - Buckleys. Drop into the tackle shop and see Dean or Wayne - always good for info.
Cheers Mick

School holidays can be pretty hectic up that way.
