Mate if you want to take the kids fishing and still catch something yourself take them to Chinamans beach,

(river mouth). Took my kids there when they where learning to fish and they had a ball on Tarwhine,

also caught a 3 kg Mulloway, 2 kg estuary cod and shovelnose shark etc.

A nice easy spot to fish which is safe for the kids, used mullet fillet for bait and

it worked well.

 I'm heading up to Kalbarri

I'm heading up to Kalbarri for the east weekend too.... I've been before, but didn't do much fishing - just off the jetty.

Could anyone recommend any other reasonable fishing beaches, areas to target (we will have a 4 wheel drive)?  Red Bluff looks pretty promising, but potentially pretty dangerous?

Where is Chinamans beach exactly?  Is the that the beach inside the estuary or on the Indian ocean coastline?
