Kalgan River Mullaway?

Hey everybody just wondering where are some good spots for mullaway fishing on the kalgan river near albany as i will be staying at the caravan park and was wondering. When we were there last time a guy fishing caught 5 but we didnt ask where and we fished late one night and had one big run froma mullaway or something but it got off during the fight. Some good bream and flounder there to. If anyone has any good spots that arent a secret...

Mulla's in that river are
Mulla's in that river are absolute pests! Got 13 in 13 casts the other day whilst chasing bream! Fish plastics or 6cm+ stick bait's on the drop off's and deeper area's and you should have no problem locating them!
If your into baiting them up they find a deeper section of the river, beware, most of the river is flanked by long flanks, it's pretty funny seeing the baito's launch a huge cast into what they think is the middle of the river but is actually only a foot deep...
Il give you one hint on a really good mulla hole, look for the pine trees...

Hey jack how big are the ones that you were getting? Im at the caravan for about a week so i defianetaly have time to locate them. were you fishing evening or morning or night?

Most of the fish I come into
Most of the fish I come into contact with range from 40-70 cm's! But lots of fish well over a meter have been landed this summer. Early morning or dusk is the best time but they will bite throughout the day and night.

Just got back today dad got
Just got back today dad got one small mullaway on a river prawn whilst chasing bream in the middle of the day and we got hundreds of small bream and only about 6-7 that were size. Tried for mullas 2 nights in a row and only landed a couple of bream and trumpeters on both nights.
