Karratha fishing

Hey guys just got into karratha for 2 weeks and looking to do some fishing, more than likely gonna hit the causeway this weekend but
was wondering if there was anyone going out and needed a deckie, happy to chip in for fuel and bait all good either way, any suggestions
where to go landbased too would be great, mainly just going to be using lures.
Cheers

If you've got a 4by, head out the jump up at withnell Bay and go the northern beaches. Becareful of the soft sand if you don't have a compressor.
Usually get queenies and trevs and small trout on placcies/poppers. Saw some pics of awesome bluebone caught on crabs last weekend out there.

Cheers, ended up going to
Cheers, ended up going to the causeway point samson, some big fish come through there, tried every lure and softie in my arsonal but nothing would touch em, came back the next day with bait but not as much action got the silver stripey fish maybe some type of archer?
went out to cossack and got a couple of I think black bream, and saw an absolute monster come out of the mangroves and circle around where my bait was for bout 10 mins, again tried bait and lures but couldnt catch it, not sure if a jack or barra or something else, but was a defo an awesome site to see, other than that was pretty quite, so much different from fishing in perth, never know what to expect.

Samson
Samson harbour well worth a crack too, jacks and barra have been caught under that jackup pylon and there's a deep hole on the otherside of the far rock wall
