Kayaking in the swan

Hi everyone, I have got a yak that I want to use for a fish in the swan but don't know what places would be best. I have a plan to start at mount henry bridge or deep water point and troll hard bodies to the yacht club next to the applecross jetty. When I get to the yacht club I might throw a couple baits down under the boats and around the snags at the club hopefully for a bream. Then finish or the journey at the applecross jetty and fish a couple of snags in close there. When trolling the lures hopefully there will be a flathead hanging around there.
would that route work? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Make sure have a lure
Make sure have a lure retriever before you head out Lachie. Otherwise you might find it a little expensive each time you hook up to the bottom. If you dont know what they are....they are a heavy lead on a strong cord that slides over the line and lure and catches on to your treble hooks. When you pull on it , it will release the lure, usually damaging your treble hook but at least you get your lure back.
