me,s tailor is already crumbed and ready to go haha.

 

nice fish , down south tailor has really fired this year, my theory

all the hot water hitting from the north last year , pushing macks, spanglies etc

to the metro and beyond has pushed more west coast tailor southwards.

Not a lot of "aftercatch care" there. A couple of kakkas and one almost decent fish (while it was fresh). If you are going to slit the throats then please get them in a slurry in a hurry . If not, just release them.

The knife is strictly for bait,isn't much good for anything else.there is a massive sand dune we down to get these fish,so we travel light,leave the engel on the ute,and don't stay long as the bite is fast n furious when we get a school and tailors all we get.we released a couple more after this pic and left them biting for another day.
