Land Based Tackle Back Pack

 Hi all,

I'm curious to know what serious land based fishos use as a tackle bag/pack.

ive been looking at the Black Magic backpacks - they look great for tackle storage but seem a bit imited on the ability to store rope and other essential safety items

what do you guys use and what are your essential items?

Shakespeare Team Box

After enormous trial and error, I've settled on the Shakespeare team box with back straps, backrest and top tray. It's simple, hard wearing, comfortable to carry long distances(backpack style) and holds a huge amount of gear. It also becomes a comfortable seat once you've set up.

Has anyone tried one of the "Wild River" tackle backpacks?  They look nice, but it'd be good to know if they hold up.

reviving an old post

Has anyone used, seen in the flesh or got a berkley all in one back pack seat? Im curious as to whether the storage section has plastic compartments for hooks/swivels/sinkers and all the small things that are sharp or easily lost. Cant seem to find one locally to go and have a look at. Bcf had similar rogue ones but without a backrest...

Friend has something like that but I'm not too impressed by it. I guess it depends where you are taking it. Most of my fishing is moving around so no time to sit. If you want a rough home made seat box out of timber which has rod holder and space inside for tackle let me know as I am past this stage. has a shoulder strap.

after looking at some of the rogue ones at bcf, ive decided to fork out the extra for a ridgeline corbin from getaway outdoors. has 2 rod holders and better storage but no seat...but generally im fishing from the rocks, and if i go to the beach theres always the tailgate or esky to sit on.
