Shimano torium 20 or 30

Shimano torium 20 or 30. I fish with both these reels ons a loomis and franklin 13,6ft rod. Both cast well. you can load 600+m of 30lb braid and 30lb topshot on the torium 30. The torium 20 can easily be loaded with 320+ of 20lb mono.

pthere is 2 choices

For rods, check out possibly the Sensor Surf Overhead Rods. They are a great casting length for landbased and resonably priced at $209ish I believe.

Reels: Toriums are great (forgot price) but there is also saltists and Fin Nor offshores.

IMO I would look at getting 2 rods if you plan on using on the boat as well.  A longer OH beach rod, and a shorter boat rod.  Spend more money on the one you're likely to use more often.
