Landing Nets, which ones are the best ?

hey all recently bought a boat and in the process of decking it out with the essentials

mainly going to be fishing for snapper, mulloway, kingfish, samsons

and just wondering what have you found to be the best landing net out there

big enough to take these fish,

especially when fishing solo its either the gaff or the net, but i like to release 85% of the fish species i mentioned above

and a net would help me greatly

just unsure what makes sizes and brands i should be looking for if you could point me in the righ direction coming

from your experiences

Thanks for the Help

one thats on special... honestly dont think it matters, never used the rubber ones ony nylon webbing nets. Sometimes your hooks can get caught between the nylon so maybe rubber worth a go.

for releasing snapper, mulloway, kingfish and samsons the largest model environet is best.  Their not the cheapest though.

Nylon nets tend to do damage to the scales and protective slime so increase the risk of fish not surviving through infection etc - also less prone to hooks getting caught and easier to get them out.

Get the fish in the net and then lift heavy fish with the pole up vertically - less chance of bending breaking the pole/handle

definitely the rubber enviro net is the go. The nylon grab your hooks very quickly and are hard to get out. Much better for you and the fish. Nylon nets also have press studs holding the net to the frame which rust out fairly quickly.  Its the old story of you get what you pay for. Spend the extra quids and get a good quality rubber enviro with a sliding handle and you wont go wrong.

Hey mate, +1 for

Hey mate,

+1 for the XL Environet. I've been using one for a few years now and they are by far the best net I've ever used.

It's one of the only nets that I've found can hold and lift a 30kg+ sambo clean out of the water without damaging the netting or bending the pole. All the seams on the net are welded plastic instead of being looped or stitched which in turn makes it ultra durable.

We have them in stock so if you wanted to take a look at one come in and see us.

Cheers
