The Last Hoorah
Submitted by beau on Sat, 2014-12-06 18:56
Hadn't planned on heading out this morning, but when I woke to near perfect conditions and the possibility of it being the last session on the boat with a potential buyer veiwing the boat in the arvo I had no choice but to get out on the water for a quick session. Day started off great with Cody getting his first Kingie on fly then mayhem followed with fish falling to baits, stickbaits and fly.
Cut it fine when I had one hour to get home and get the boat scrubbed spotless but only a few hours after catching the last fish the boat was sold!
I'll post more on what an experience it has been owning our first boat during the week, lots of piccies!
Cheers,
Beau.

Top Pics
Top Pics there Beau and great fish as well.
Thought we might have seen you on the salmon again this morning but can see you have moved on and up.
Tried flys for the first time today after watching you go at it the last few times we have seen you on the water. Got to say it really is a thrill watching them chase down the fly and tear the line out of your hands. Going to be doing it more this season. Watch out Mahi

Not Kidding
Your not kidding about cramped. Was over a dozen boats on it last week but we still get 2 pending line class world records out of it and another today :)
If your going to boatless for a while i can always arrange days out if your keen. Got plenty of holidays coming

Bloody hell, its just clicked who you are, I even spoke to you a few weeks back haha. We were the first boat on them last week at around 6am, unfortunately with around a dozen boats fishing the reef they finally caught on to what we were doing out in the open.
Yep no ugrade so will be looking for as many deckie spots as possible!
