Think Luke could eat a mullie a week on his own, never seen anyone eat as much fish as Luke, but that's a good thing.

Fish don't last long at Johns place, not with 7 mouths to feed.

16 kg mullie filleted will return around 8kg of fillets, that would last 3-4 meals.

 Thanks for another great day

Thanks for another great day John, and your right it's a nice change from diving.

Luke is a chip of the old block, doing really good on the mullies,

Petermac, John learnt to fish from one of the best pro fisherman on the west coast ( no not me ).

Petermac, you have done pro fishing so you know what type of ground to look for, down here not every lump will hold.

fish like you we're drop lining, hit a lump once ( do 1 drift ) if you get nothing, move.

look for ground starting from 35m to 60m.

Sounds good, although a bit unfortunate with the young bloke!
We hugged Garden Island for a couple hours, was a bit too calm for tailor, I like the swell a bit bigger and more whitewash, we only hooked a couple. Shot out to the 30s looking for some kgw ground but couldnt find anything then lost a tuna on the way in. Shocking day for us!
