last weekends play time

Had a solid 6hrs of fun last saturday on the salmon, i know alot of guys are over them but nothing can beat a screaming reel and bending rod no matter what's on the end. Conditions were awsome too.

Great pics, they were going off down at Rocko yacht club jetty again yesterday morning (Friday).
Pound for pound the good ol' Salmon are pretty hard to beat - shame there not so good on the chew.

True that, the harder you go the harder they go. Yeah i kept one and made salmon and potato patties, i have to say me and the mrs really enjoyed them, i wont hesitate to keep another one. Small cubes beer battered fresh is great too. Just got to invest alot more time at the cleaning stage then other fish.
