This Labor govt is the
This Labor govt is the biggest pack of kite flyers ever seen except they use introduced legislation (instead of a media thought bubble) to fly a kite and then backflip if the kitchen gets too hot. We can't complain really as the people of WA voted and re-voted them in with such a crushing majority because they hated Barnett and Marky 'kept us safe'.
Officially off the Pies bandwagon

Crap
Hopefully they will snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and lose the unlosable post the McGowan dictatorship. Just sad that the other side is just as feeble currently. Bring back Gryllsy.

Going the right way about it
Going the right way about it with most decisions being rammed down our throats whether we like it or not. Didn't vote for these flogs as could see what would happen. Hopefully the opposition are getting their act together. Still enjoying the fishing I do.

I also didnt vote for them
I also didnt vote for them because it was clear what such a majority could do.
In saying that, the alternative is not an option either at the moment.

He was a good pollie IMO Adam. Good bloke too. Had a dinner with him and 8 of us when he was still in politics and he said basically "we know fuck all really so why don't you guys tell me how you see it in the real world". It's how we think of pollies but at least he acknowledged it.

Can anyone break this down
Can anyone break this down for us not holding a full tool kit ?.
Its states the ARMA were about to release new laws replacing the 1994 act....a decade in the making!!
New laws / fishing restrictions were introduced for both Rec & Pro sectors following the DPIRD stock assessments and health check completed in 2021, which the government acted on this year.
It states the ARMA aims to ensure the ecological sustainability of the states aquatic resources and ecosystems, ensuring there managed, developed and used with economic and social benefits in mind.
But the government has delayed this indefinitely...dictatorship as other have stated above.
The Pro sector are happy with this because of there current cuts and can only think the delays are a good thing, the Gov are going to help them more than the ARMA new laws would ?
Its doesnt make cents..

I was wondering about that
I was wondering about that too mate, all I read is about government concern for the commercial sector.
Once again the Rec voice and concern is just left in the dark and not even considered.
Love the West!

I won't complain about the Mcgowan goverment. If you rememeber the Lib goverment before them left a 41 billion dollar defiect behind. Sure Punch is a waste of breath and the only decisions he made were bad ones, but whats are the alternitives?
The libs are still a pile of shite and a bibal bashing pile at that.
So whats the answer, is there one. I don't think so.
Maybe better the devil you know rather than gamble on the liberal party, unless of course you all go to church on sundays.

Church would fall down if I
Church would fall down if I went there on any day of the week.
Labour don't give a shit about the voters they are just ramming shit policies through parliament whether we like it or not. Libs/nat might not get back in but with a few more seats might be able to make them more accountable. I reckon with the latest backdowns Cook is starting to see that discontent among the voters.
