life jacket question
Submitted by Paul N on Sun, 2022-05-01 14:19
Just been given a couple of older PFD Type 1 life jackets to use as spares but not sure they are still legal to use . They are marked as Australian Standard AS1512 .
I know there is a newer standard but not sure if AS1512 can still be used .
Thanks Paul

You should have them
You should have them inspected by company who certifies offshore survival equipment. West Offshore Products in O'Connor is the company I use for inflatable life jacket re-certification.
