Light Spin Jigging Rod
Submitted by Seaquest on Tue, 2011-07-19 20:21
After a few recommendations for a light spin jigging rod. I know this has been covered a bit but I'm after a specific rod.
Has to be less than 6' and have a parabolic action. Will be used with a Saltiga game 3500 with 30lb on it.
The rod will only be used for slow fluttering metal jigs in the 90-120g range.
Something similar to the Jig Force 120g rod but preferably with a reel seat with the nut coming from the bottom and the fore grip right down on the reel.
Cheers

I've fished the axs57/4 - matched with a 5000 or 6000sw.
Not too familiar with the 3500 daiwa size. Is it similar to the 6000 shimanos?

axs57/4 would be fairly well
axs57/4 would be fairly well balanced with a 3500 game then. I reckon the pspj would be too short - probably more of a pe4+ rod too

The new Saltiga SG62S-2/3
The new Saltiga SG62S-2/3 rods are wicked, have fished one with my 4000 Salti on it and really liked it.
Something easily available in Australia aswell.
Is a touch over what you're after but at 6'2" it gives you a little more length to "flick" and allow the jig to flutter.
One to look at for sure. The reel seat winches from bottom up, but has a locking nut.
Cheers,
Sam
