wankers! hey cell. im in Kalbarri but heading down to perth to do the dreaded tax returns and if you want I can pass on a spare beach rod and Cpl small boat rods and reels if you want mate. no money required. I have enough gear so if you want im happy to unload them to you. pm me if you want and ill bring them down with me when I come down on the 10th feb. im in queens park but not far from high Wycombe!

thanks guys but petermac and jody i rent here and no insurance on both i had been looking into it tho, i know i am 27 should have this shit sorted but my car is an ol banga of a 75 series cruiser and not much to look at, insurance was on the menu but was waiting till i could sort of make my banking skills more in the positive region.

your right big john i am deffinately looking into all sorts of insurance firstly trying to con the missus into putting either a hi powered rifle on layby sort of, or getting a nasty as dog. but on a serious note my car is going to be getting insured very soon, plus the contents insurance is going to happen as well.

Got a sahara 7ft light combo or a penn slammer 11ft combo ( a mate has borrowed this rod off me at the moemnt tho)both with line i'll let it go cheap. See what tackle ive got too i might be able to throw in to get you back wetting a line.

Unless you secure one of the better Accidental Damage type policies on contents then be very careful, many of the run of the mill policies expressly exclude cover for contents in motor vehicels and some even expressly exclude "sporting goods" (which includes fishing gear ) - so read the PDS carefully and or specifically ask the question and secure written confirmation of coverage.   You can take out special risks cover as an addition to normal contents coverage but it is expensive and it is probably better value seeking an upper end AD type policy which gives the cover without needing to specify anything

Marcel, I have a near new shimano baitrunner (I think from memory a 6500 size) spooled with 15kg mono you are welcome to if you would like it - just drop me a PM - I am SOR but can easily meet in the City if that is more convenient

but I do have a penn 650 loaded with 20lb braid and silstar power tip boat rod (6-10kg) (nice little snapper outfit) you can have.

Hope all works out. Like I said the Saragosa 8000 lost its glue attached side plates but thats just cosmetic, and she works fine. The Penn Slammer prob need some TLC because that was on a beach rod, and since moving to Karratha hasnt been used for 6 years. Moving back I have a new beach setup. The Sara has been upgraded to a Stella. The Mrs and I both used Sara8K's on our main BB rods in Karratha but bless her she bought me the Stella for Xmas about 3 yrs ago. The braid on both is fairly new as I used these reels to "store" braid when I replaced it with something newer on the Stella's I have now.

Hope you get some use out of it and sorry I didnt get to meet you when you picked them up from Rockingham.
