Our local daycare centre is a contact site. Lots of our school's families use it and the school had a dawn service on Fri. I can feel a 14 day quarantine coming....

Yep , and i reckon a high probability that all the nice Perth folk that have invaded the southwest for their absolutely priority 3 day break have stuffed it for us as well.

Yeah. I really don't understand the mentality.... we get told there could be spread so we may have to lockdow, so people rush to travel elsewhere before it kicks in! Kinda defeats the purpose! Guess it's true that common sense just isn't all that common any more. Would be quite annoyed if I lived in one of the holiday hotspots  :/

A lot of people had already set off before anyone even knew there would be an announcement. Horse had already bolted in other words.

Easy to miss the initial announcement if you're not a social media user. I was at sea solo on Friday morning and   had better things to do than check the news on my phone. Never look at it unless receiving a call and didn't pick up any announcemnts on VHF 16 either. So only got the heads up when I got home at the end of the day out.

Nah , sorry Andy and Reefsta , i fished Friday as well and within an hour of getting home at 3 oclock i had heard. This whole covid thing has really highlighted the selfish nature of certain humans , huge disapointment in humanity in general. Anyway we were lucky again that this shit disease hasnt got out into the general population.
