Was out in the work boat this morning and seen sardines getting chopped on the surface. up close we found tuna to i'd guess 20kgs jumping. followed the action up to sucess bank. If your out for a squid this weekend take your caster and some metals and i reckon your in with a good chance of one.

I was having lunch at the Blue Duck in Cott on Sunday, and saw one jump not far out from shore - I meant to give people the heads up, but forgot...

Just wondering
How many of you guys have had success casting into a school of tuna around metro( sound and rotto)? I've seen birds working, tuna jumping, but never have been able to tempt the suckers. The last time was around 2 months ago, spent a good 1 hour chasing the buggers and nothing. Seems so easy up north.
cheers

the stripeys are pretty agressive but go smaller and smaller lure if they aren't going for it or even go dead bait, because that is usually what they are chasing
