Look out coral bay

The Faulkner family is on the way. Been waiting 2 years for this trip . Heading off tonight for hopefully 2 great weeks of fishing.
Any reports on how the sharks are out there beyond the 60

Been here 5 weeks. So far 20
Been here 5 weeks. So far 20 x 24oz sinkers & 4 x 32oz.
We all seem to strike it lucky some days & pay heavily on others.
problem does seem less in greater than 100m but we lost good fish at the 200m. Saw what appeared to be a 10 foot Bull Shark & promptly moved further afield
As always move very often & definitely when there's been one hit.
Smaller lumps are also better.
As usual anything red is a hot target.
For the first time in my trips to Coral Bay I have definite reports of Cobia being taken by sharks.

Cheers guys. Was a good trip up . Hot a couple of squid yesterday and went for a fish today but the fish won today . Only got 1 red of about 6 or 7 kg and a couple of honeycomb cod and a pig fish.
