Looking for Albany river tips
Submitted by Jimmy441 on Wed, 2016-02-10 22:41
Hey guys,
Just moved to Albany and I'm struggling a bit finding fish.
I've been out a few times, without much luck. Got some undersized bream on a prawn plastic, and a stray Mulloway pup on bait at the Lower King Road bridge, near Coraki, also had a go under the Nanarup Road bridge.
Not asking for anyones private spots or anything, but any well known spots that I'm unaware of, or any tips in general for getting the big Bream/Flatties I'm after would be appreciated.
Cheers.

Kalgan river
That's the biggest river close to town and your best chance for both species. Try out Torbay inlet for bream or Wilsons inlet further west if your perpared to travel for many different species.
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.

Avoid Wilson inlet right now-
Avoid Wilson inlet right now- pretty horribly weeded up in parts & there's probably better fishing west or east.
