Recommend Landbased Location

Hey People,

Short story is somehow myself and a couple of mates have managed to align FIFO rosters, shift work, kids, wifes etc and have next Saturday night completely free. We can leave Perth northern suburbs by about 2pm and have to be back by 1pm on the Sunday. What I'm asking is for suggestions as to where we might be able to head. At this stage we were thinking somewhere between Two Rocks and Wedge with the chance to get to the beach and have the first bait in the water before sundown.

I know it will be a long weekend, so crowds being likely we are happy to head to more out of the way places like around ledge or seabird. Has anyone got any info that might help like current conditions of the beaches, weed, exposed reef, etc?

Thanks in advance,

Brad

go past the servo to the beach and head north till the beach opens up, there is a small reef there and if you fish before that the beach should be easy to fish off.

only issue up there is weed , but have still pulled good fish if you burley.

Second either Guilderton or Hill river, both great spots and as mentioned if you manage to avoid the weed you should have a great time.

If I was fishing there I would go south from the main carpark and track back towards Cervantes.

Will be less crowds and still plenty of good fish down that way.

That's just me though, not a fan of crowds, especially crowds shining spot lights on the water all night!

Cheers,
D80
