Yesterday's fishing

Decided to give the boat a test run yesterday after having some big outboard repairs done. Boat performed well and we managed a good feed as well.
Fishing was good up to when the breeze came in, with us catching 7 dhuies, releasing all but 1, 3 pinkys, and numerous breaksea cod. The big dhuies managed to evade us but I did catch 2 size fish on the Mcarthy's which was a first for me, and also managed to christen a new Saltiga rod I bought on boxing day.
Good day out after having such a long break from the fish.

Nice work Steve. Straight
Nice work Steve. Straight back into some good fish. My motor has miss fired a couple of times. I have been told its because they run the compressor in with a richer oil mix. Have you noticed anything similar?

Brendon, the only thing I
Brendon, the only thing I have noticed is that it doesn't seem to have that "bark" when I first start it. Seems to fire up a lot quieter now. Maybe the difference is that my compressor wasn't knackered, only the mounts on it were stuffed, there was nothing wrong with it internally. Did yours do it first time back on the water? We did have a long day out there so there was every opportunity for it to play up, and I was a bit hesitant taking it out so far, but it ran perfectly.
