Great work to get past the blowies and land some nice bream.

hello everyone, well

hello everyone, well unfortunatelly we didnt come prepared, well the first bream picture is of a 1.5litre water bottle next to my cheap sexy Penn Accord 8000 reel, it was relativelly bigger than the bream caught with the sunkist next to it, they where monsters, i really thought that i was snagged a few times when they struck.

we tried a few different baits there, we landed these with mussles against or in close proximity of the pylon closest to perth city (right hand side as you turn into the parking area).

mine was damn tasty, gutted, scalled, a nice quantity of sea salt on both sides, deep fried in extra virgin oil, extra crispy with a a large number of cut up lemon added to the frying pan at the final stage, went down well with the sunkist =P.

ill have to measure the bottles =) to give u an estimate of the sizes but i can tell you that there are a number of them there, we had alot of good srikes with mussles but we ran out of it.

care to tell us what rig you were using, or what rig should you use for bream ?, I understand that river prawn works well,

Top idea on using mussels from it's local ground, We use bugs off the beach some times, some work some dont Laughing
