HEY ALL. im still looking for a second hand donk to sit on the back of the 19 ft swifty .were looking for something up to max 150 hp preferably 4 stroke and not too old but gotta be reliable and . not too fussy on brand but were looking at a suzi as ive been reccommended them by a couple of mechanics one of which doesent even deal with them .
if anyone has repowered and got one sitting or knows of someone it would be helpful . were down in mandurah so if one close by would be even better

Hi Russ, This bloke
Hi Russ,
This bloke regularly brings them in.

I have no affiliation, but he has been recommended by some one I trust. I've been looking to buy a good hull for a refurb and engine.
Cheers

all the hudraulick lifters
all the hudraulick lifters are shot plus numerous things wrong with the motor . was going to cost around 5 to 6 k to fix then still no guarantee. good solid hull tho.

115 heaps
Little andys does 35 knots. Full open .4000 Cruze speed 24 to 26 knots.16 litres an hour at cruise. And that's got a cabin. Luke's Viking has 150 Honda . Biggest issues with Viking . Dominator and explorer . Very low on engine well . If you go to big ( weight) risk taking waves over back. Hence Luke's back well I got full weld job done( made transom double height) to counter act weight of motor it stopped wind waves coming in back. Luke coped 2 waves over back prior to fixing . Bilge going flat out very dangerous situation.. Suzi the lightest. One main reason I went for mariner very high trans and more fish room than dominator . Very big small boat. Don't forget when they where made most had 130 to 150 evenrudes and Johno on them . Light. pretty sure they all had mid range legs on them. If your ripping motor of I would 100 percent get ally fabricated fully welded lift on tranny. Prior to fitting motor. Just suggestion does help

going from what your saying
going from what your saying a 115 to 130 would be ample if your not trying to break any speed records . also the build up your talking about is that the one behind the motor or where the motor sits.

Correct
. Suzi 150 would be ideal . Cheap to run and light. Talking 4 strokes .
