LOOKING FOR IDEAS ON NAVIGATION LIGHTS ON THE SKI TO GO OUT FISHING IN THE DARK

Hi I have heard of some ski's out there with light set ups to go when it gets dark, As i have been told the best time for fishing is just after sun set and before sun rise.

I have a basic fishing rack that straps to the back and thinking of ideas to add the lights to the rack and maybe even a work light to it so im not fumbling in the dark while fishing

Any info would appreciated

 what fish are you actually

what fish are you actually targetting to start with? Most fish that you can catch off the ski you'll be able to catch during hours where you dont realy need nav lights.

Apparantely the best time to catch tailor is when the light is low and the surface is a bit churned up but i caught one of my biggest tailor of 59cms a couple weeks ago in the middle of the day duriing a complete glass off. Also caught my 6kg snapper just before lunch time in pretty much the same conditions. Sounds like you're after sharks or mulloway even?

know that sounds silly, but looked at them as emergency ones in case of failure. they are led, in red, white and green. They were in the work safe area, with tags, rolls of , do not enter caution etc. have about 150cm "stick " type base, [think designed to push into ground.] and they were way cheaper than the boating stores.

This is how we do it New

This is how we do it New Zealand, I have kitted out 100's of skis in New Zealand and this seems to work well and fit nicely with the look of the ski. I also fit dual battery systems with VSR relays...

Plenty of accessories available from jetskifishing.co.nz including Ultimate Rod Holders, Ultimate Reel Covers and Ultimate Catch Bags.
