Looking at upgrading to a bigger boat

Hey fellas as the heading states a mate and i are looking at combining funds and getting a bigger boat we have around 90 grand and like the look of the Kev Cats up to 24ft,any bigger and we couldnt tow it,am open to any suggestions tho.We mainly fish out of Bunno so will have to do some miles to get to deep drop grounds which is something we both want to get into. What do you guys reckon?

A bit more than $90k but it's a lotta boat with lotsa fruit. A bit over 26ft but can be towed with a vehicle with a 3.5t towing capacity.

 Have a 6m Leisure Cat

Tue, 2014-04-08 17:04

Have a 6m Leisure Cat Islander and can't fault it. Best riding boat I have been on and well worth looking at. Can fish 4 off one side with hardly a tilt. Little or no spray. Is a different ride and takes some getting used to the different rock when at drift as opposed to a single hull.  Go for a sea trial and see for yourself though. Each to their own, but IMO two hulls are better than one!

be careful about going halves

be careful about going halves with a mate. i have seen a few deals between mates go horribly wrong. if you have half that amount you could get a whole lot of boat for that amount if you look around

Come and have a look at the Aqualine if you like.

Might be a bit more than you're looking at but happy to talk if you guys want to come up to Woodies.

Be about 2.8t to tow and have fished 6 off it, 4 big buggers on one side without a problem.

shark cat ,lesurecats and own a kevlacat in my opinion i would go the kevla cat or shark cat ,the lesure cats really get a rock up when drifting side onto the sweel compared to the 2 others imo ,my 6.2m kevla cat tournement weighs 3.5 tonne full of fuel and fishing gear

 I know where there's a great

Mon, 2014-04-28 13:35

I know where there's a great Noosacat 2800 which I know he will let go for 100k.. It's not for sale though, but I do know that's the figure he will say yes to.

Located in Carnarvon, twin 200 yami four strokes, front cabin, captains chairs etc, triple axle trailer just been refurbished.
