Lowrance Elite Ti software update

G'day all,
I see there is a software update for this model available from Lowrance, with mapping features etc. Are you able to download this update, via wifi, using your phone as a hotspot?? Failing that, I will just upload the update to a card and install it that way, but just doing it straight from my phone would be very cool....
Any idea if it's possible? Mr Google not helpful so far....

From memory if you link it up
From memory if you link it up to your phone via a mobile hotspot pretty shortly after you set up the connection it will automatically search for updates and install them automatically or after asking if you want to install the latest update..
