Lowrance link 5

Hi, can someone tell me if the lowrance link 5 vhf radio comes with antenna, easy to install and easy to use?
My icon 27 meg has a busy signal permanently on the screen so won't transmit/receive so after a search on here decided the link 5 was the way to go.

I've just pulled my link 5
I've just pulled my link 5 out. The screen blacks out and cant tell what channel it is on. Another mate has the same issue with his.

Hey guys, heads up that whitworths have a Standard Horizon VHF radio with DSC for $149!

Have never used that brand so can't comment on quality.

That's what I replaced mine
That's what I replaced mine with. Seems pretty good so far. Couldn't go past it for the money and I have a second backup VHF on board so figured I would give it a go.

Ok
So link 5 may not be the way to go.

They're good
We've had one in the boat for a few years now and it's good. It's a centre console with no t top so it cops plenty of sun and water and we've had no dramas.
It didn't come with an antenna.
