Hi guys. Does anyone have any experience or comments regarding the Lowrance StructureScan 3D? I'm considering the Carbon 9 unit paired with the 3D transducer. Intended use is for demersal jigging up to 40m and finding good ground for cray diving. Cheers

Had one
I had one for a while and sold it. Going through bunbury harbour it was unbelievable, I reckon you would see a shopping trolley if you went over it.
Out deeper it was next to useless for finding ground. I took it over a lump about 8m round and 2m high that we dive on and I could hardly make out the lump.

The tech isnt quite there yet
The tech isnt quite there yet for the bottom bashers. I love mine in the sound and anything under 20m but knowing the fishing you do Rosie it would not be of any use to you
