Lunch Time Tailor 2

Went for a quick fish this morning down near rockingham with one of my mates and after walking up and down the beach for an hour managed to get into a nice school of tailor. We caught over a dozen 35cm plus tailor and kept these 4 for a feed. They were a bit smaller then usual but still good fun on light gear and lures.

Peter mate I usually cook
Peter mate I usually cook them on the bbq in summer but its to bloody cold to go outside to cook at the moment. Lately ive been cooking them up whole in the oven or if they were filleted in the pan.
Bardzman they were all caught on 40g Halco Twistys and Streakers and also on and also the spaniard metal raider lures. It was a pretty expensive session though losing 4 lures in the process. The tailor were sitting deep and where we were casting we had to let the lured sink over a rock ledge before retrieving. As they say no pain no gain.

The art of fishing consists of casting, winding, trolling and jigging
while freezing, sweating, swatting and swearing.
